There is a proverb in my tribe that goes thus, "eniyan laso mi" which means (people are my clothes), this kind of proverb is used when you want to appreciate the kindness you receive from people. The year 2023 has been an amazing year for me both in reality and here on hive. I met people who changed my way of thinking and helped me become a better version of myself. In reality, I met people who had a great impact on my life and I appreciate them for all their efforts and the sacrifices they made all through the year 2023.
My first appreciation goes to my family, that is my parents and my siblings. They have been of great help in my journey in the year 2023, they supported me all through my plans and made sure I didn't take the wrong steps even when I wanted to. They are my guidance angel and I appreciate all they do for me to have a successful 2023. The joy of having parents who understand you and are always ready to support you is immeasurable. I cannot but say a big thank you for all their sacrifices just for me to be happy, their encouragement and discipline have helped me shape my life and made me into the woman I'm becoming.
Here in the hive platform, it has been a wonderful year with people who have helped me grow on this platform. I met quite a good number of them last year and I can say I didn't regret ever knowing anyone of them. They are my family here on hive whom I cherish so much because of the love they showed me. Firstly, my sincere appreciation goes to my doctor who happens to be a hiver in respect of @jjmusa2004. What an amazing man, I met him in the year 2023, and it seems we've known each other for years. My number one hive problem solver, he is always there to listen to my complaints and numerous questions. I'm using this medium to say a big thank you for all your efforts towards my growth on Hive.
Another person I would love to extend my greetings to is @merit.ahama, she is such an amazing soul who helped me a lot throughout the year 2023. She made a positive impact on my life and my journey on the hive. She never gets tired of questions and anytime I call on her, she is always there to give me a listening ear. And also @fashtioluwa, thank you for all your sacrifices since I started my journey on the Hive, it has been great being under your tutelage. And thanks for your effort throughout the zealy campaign, always there to wake me up at midnight spaces. I couldn't have asked for a better friend who wants a great future for a friend.
I can't but mention one of my bosses @kingsleyy, a man with a smile, always smiling at my questions, I do ask him ridiculous questions that might piss anyone off but yet he won't get mad at me for it. Always ready to put me through any difficulty I might face, thank you for making 2023 a wonderful year for me on the hive. I big thank you to a lady I met towards the end of last year in respect of @monica-ene. I call her simplicity in human form, she is a lady whom I respect so much, thanks for your encouragement and advice, it made my journey on hive smooth.
Towards the end of the year also, hive gave me a wonderful gift in respect of @emreal, I call him my boo. Always asks if I've made a post, I don't know who is the fastest at commenting on my posts between him and @jjmusa2004. In the few weeks I've known you, you have helped me in many ways. Thanks for your kind gestures. I can't end this post without mentioning my other friends who made my journey on the hive throughout last year a pleasant one in respect of @princessbusayo, @balikis, @tomiajax, @terganftp, and to everyone I didn't mention here, you mean so much to me and I appreciate all you did for me in the year 2023, let's make it work again this new year and it shall be a prosperous year for us all.
