I want to share with you a curious fact: these cultural places, while not exactly coffee shops, always have coffee, and the entire atmosphere and design are that of a coffee shop.
The furnishings and offerings are those of a coffee shop, per se; however, the establishment's raison d'être is artistic.
Here, several of the city's best artists perform, and the audience enjoys them with a delicious cup of coffee in hand.
In this way, the spirit of those early European coffee shops of the 17th century, frequented by the leading philosophers and intellectuals of the time, is continued.
Just like in the Jazz Cafés of the 20th century, the public sits down to chat or listen to music or literary readings, in a relaxed atmosphere with a variety of coffee and tea available.
By the way, a curious detail: the first Jazz Cafés in the world didn't emerge in the United States, as everyone thinks, but in Japan, at the beginning of the 20th century.
Strange, right? A country that neither produces coffee nor is famous for jazz imported the treachery of coffee and jazz and united them.
If both are enjoyed separately, why not?
And that's what we're doing in my city. We've taken the concept of the literary café and the jazz café and fused them into something wonderful like these artistic spaces.
And, believe me, they are wonderful.

Hola, cafetómanos!
Quiero traerles una curiosidad y me refiero a estos sitios culturales que si bien no son una cafetería en sí, nunca falta el café y toda la ambientación y el diseño es el de una cafetería.
El mobiliario y las ofertas, son las de una cafetería en todas la de la ley, sin embargo, la razón de ser del establecimiento, es artística.
Aquí se presentan varias de los mejores artistas de la ciudad y el público los disfruta con un delicioso café en la mano.
De ese modo se continúa el espíritu de esas primeras cafeterías europeas del siglo XVII, que frecuentaban los principales filósofos e intelectuales de la época.
Al igual que en los Jazz Café del siglo XX, el público se sienta a conversar o a escuchar la música o las lecturas de literatura, con tranquilidad y con una variada oferta de café y té a su disposición.
Por cierto, un detalle curioso, los primeros Jazz café del mundo, no surgieron en los Estados Unidos, como todos piensan, sino en Japón, a principios del siglo XX.
¿Extraño, verdad? Un país que no produce ni el café ni es famoso por el jazz, importó la traición del café y del jazz, y las unió.
Si ambas gustan por separado, ¿por qué no?
Y así mismo hacemos en mi ciudad. Tomamos el concepto del café literario y del jazz café y lo fusionamos en algo maravilloso como estos espacios artísticos.
Y, créanme, que son maravillosos.
