Hello friends, today I present a new discovery as far as coffee shops are concerned and it is the Afrocafe coffee. I have wanted to visit this place for a long time, because in the middle of my different errands I sometimes passed by, but always for different reasons, I kept the promise in my mind that any day I could, I was going to visit them and so it was. After some banking errands early in the morning, I left the bank, with the intention of going to have a nice coffee there. Since it was close to where I was, I went quickly to the place, praying that they also had breakfast to go with my coffee, since I had not had breakfast.

When I stood in front of it, the first thing I saw was its colorful advertisement, full of vibrant colors and the original logo with the name of the café; its interior was visible through the glass windows that framed its entrance, which gave me an idea of what was waiting for me after crossing its threshold. I could see that, apart from the café, they also offered breakfast, homemade cakes, pancakes and other drinks, such as water, soft drinks, among others; but what definitely made me curious, was that inside the café there was an ophthalmology, where they offered glasses, apart from coffee, a business in two.

Besides, the decoration of the place caught my attention, because everything in it spoke of African culture, there were beautiful hand-painted murals with warm colors on cream-colored walls, giving it the perfect balance, on the other hand, there were also images of African women dressed in their beautiful dresses and implements of that culture. The artist, who decorated these walls, did it in a very beautiful, original way and to finish giving the intimate and delicate touch, they illuminated the place with original elongated lamps hanging from a very high ceiling.

Other details that I liked, was its decoration in its minimalist furniture, well distributed in a single open concept environment, where you could see the whole place from wherever you sat; as, for example, to see how they prepare your coffee or breakfast. At that moment, I ordered my usual coffee with milk and some delicious chicken empanadas; while I was waiting, I amused myself taking more pictures of the place. By the time my order arrived, I was seated at my small table for two, although I was walking alone, but its long chairs attracted me; when I saw my coffee, I loved its presentation, simple, but quite neat, and when I tasted my coffee, I knew I was not wrong to visit this coffee shop.

This coffee shop fulfills everything that attracts me to a place to have my coffee: originality, cleanliness, excellent service, a cozy atmosphere and top quality products, because my breakfast was very tasty and the coffee was just right. So I recommend it 100%. This café is located in Caracas, Venezuela, on Urdaneta Avenue, long before reaching the bridge of the Armed Forces. Hola amigos!, hoy les presento un nuevo descubrimiento en cuanto a cafeterías se refiere y es el café Afrocafe. Este local desde hace un buen tiempo lo quería visitar, pues en medio de mis diferentes diligencias pasaba en ocasiones cerca, pero siempre por diferentes motivos, quedaba con la promesa en mi mente de que cualquier día que se me diera, les iba a visitar y así fue. Luego de unas diligencias bancarias a primera hora, salí del banco, con la intención de ir a tomarme un rico café a ese lugar. Como me quedaba cerca de donde estaba, fui rápida al sitio, rogando que tuvieran también desayuno para acompañar mi café, pues no había desayunado.

Al pararme enfrente lo primero que vi fue su vistoso anuncio, lleno de colores vibrantes y el original logo con el nombre del café; su interior estaba visible a través de los cristales que enmarcaban su entrada, cuestión que me brindaba un panorama, acerca de lo que me esperaba luego de traspasar su umbral. Pude ver que, aparte del café, también ofrecían desayunos, aparte de tortas caseras, panques y otras bebidas, como agua, refrescos, entre otros; pero lo que definitivamente me dio curiosidad, fue que dentro del café estaba una oftalmología, donde ofrecían lentes, aparte de café, un negocio en dos.

Aparte, llamó mi atención la decoración del lugar, pues todo en ella hablaba de la cultura africana, había bellos murales pintados a mano con cálidos colores sobre unas paredes color crema, dándole el equilibrio perfecto, por otro lado, había también imágenes de mujeres africanas ataviadas con sus bellos vestidos y los implementos propios de esa cultura. El artista, que decoró estas paredes, lo hizo de una manera muy hermosa, original y para terminar de darle el toque íntimo y delicado, iluminaron el lugar con unas originales lámparas alargadas que penden de un techo bastante alto.

Otros detalles que me gustaron, fue su decoración en sus muebles  de corte minimalistas, bien distribuidos en un solo ambiente de concepto abierto, donde se podía ver todo el lugar desde donde te sentaras; como, por ejemplo, ver cómo preparan tu café o desayuno. Para ese momento, pedí mi acostumbrado café con leche y unas ricas empanadas de pollo; mientras esperaba, me entretuve tomando más fotos del lugar. Para cuando llegó mi pedido, estaba sentada en mi pequeña mesa para dos, aunque andaba sola, pero sus largas sillas me atrajeron; cuando vi mi café, me encantó su presentación, sencilla, pero bastante prolija, y cuando probé mi café, supe que no me equivoqué en visitar esa cafetería.

Esta cafetería cumple con todo lo que me atrae a un lugar para tomar mi café: originalidad, limpieza, excelente atención, un ambiente acogedor y productos de óptima calidad, pues mi desayuno estaba muy rico y el café, en su punto. Así es que lo recomiendo al 100%. Este café está ubicado en Caracas, Venezuela, por la avenida Urdaneta, mucho antes de llegar al puente de las Fuerzas Armadas. Para quienes estén cerca o pasen por allí alguna vez, se los recomiendo. Mis saludos, amigos cafeteros!
