Yes I was surprised by the inside, it looks super giant and I didn't suspect that when I saw the picture of the outside. Walking around that place must be quite a shock to see the height of the place.
I love the shadows and as you mention it's best to visit in the afternoon hours to appreciate how the sunlight is filtering through the structure.
The tunnels and what you find there is great to explore. A wonderful place you have found, a great treasure worth visiting.

I didn't know that you could do this kind of creative work using gelatin until I came across your blog. Without a doubt, it can be considered an art, because you make each piece in an artisanal way with a professional but unique result.
