Monomad: Urban decay and Soviet aesthetics around the park by @namiks
The rainy and cold days make it seem that it is not quite spring, the same thing happened here a week ago and yet as soon as the sun came out the flowers appeared. When it drizzles everything is sadder, slower and the energy of the sun is missing, it revitalises. But always after the rain the sun will come out, sooner or later. A walk is always healthy.
Your photographs are incredible, it gives me the feeling of abandonment and on the other hand that mix of eras you talk about. Especially the abandoned or apparently abandoned cars. Very nice walk and beautiful pictures of reality.

Smetana & Blini [Eng-Esp] by @ylich
Oh, man... This all looks so tasty! 😃
I remember well that my mom and grandma were using Smetana (Tejföl en Hungarian) a lot in their dishes and very often, for breakfast as a coating on bread with a bit of paprika and salt!
To my surprise, when we moved to Spain, we couldn't find it anywhere! Luckily, it is used in German cuisine, so Aldi supermarket was a saver... 😃 But, now that you shared the recipe and it's not complicated to make it, maybe we should do it at home!

Reconquest Day Celebration. Vigo Spain 🇪🇸 by @mballesteros
The first thing I noticed is how the traditional clothes are very different from this part of Spain, almost like they are from a completely different country! But, when I saw those market stalls, I could place myself in Spain... 🤣 I saw once that big rounded grilling place, but can't remember the prices... The smell was so strong that it was luring everyone to go there... 🤣
Luckily, as I can see from your photos, there were some other, more traditional (and cheaper) food on the menu...
Thanks for sharing! We haven't visited Vigo yet, but we were so close when we went to Porto! Next time, we will pay a visit for sure as we heard so many great stories about it... Including this one!

Cassava With Homemade Tomato Sauce by @anggreklestari
I loved this sauce, and I love them thick, especially if I'm going to eat yucca, I like it, but I can only pass it with sauces hahaha, yes, I avoid spicy, but if someone offers me a lunch with spicy I would still eat it.... Tempeh catches my eye, and I wonder if I'll try it someday, it looks really good. You've already whetted my appetite, and it's still early here hahaha. Happy day Angrek 🙏

Wrong Gear, Wrong time by @ekavieka
I can't imagine what these images would be like if you had taken with you the equipment you consider appropriate that day. They are incredible! The dark tone brings drama to the scenes, for my taste they are perfect. Those statues are impressive and I appreciated knowing what they represent, they certainly transmit that demonic power with their expressions. What material are they made of to weigh so much? They remind me of the images that next week they will procession through the streets of my city celebrating Christian Holy Week. It's funny how different cultures around the world share similar traditions. I really enjoyed meeting this one, thank you for sharing it.

Pomegranate: Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet! by @untilwelearn
Without realizing it you've been accomplishing something great here, patiently waiting for the subtle changes to give us this photo post today. It's good that it's not an everyday thing, the way you did it is perfect to appreciate the growth of the flowers, and I know you will successfully share the rest of the process later on. I really liked this, I am hoping to fall in love with some plant too that will help me capture the process of changes as it blooms...

The Confusion Of Modern Empathy by @abenad
Ohh this reflection is very accurate!! I'm afraid that people who have more developed empathy than normal identify with what you wrote. People usually just want you to listen to them and give them the reason, their reason. Other times they only seek compassion, to be the victims of what happens to them because that's how they are the centre of attention. Of course, we are talking about adults, not young people or children who still have to mature. Precisely for that reason each one must take charge of their problems, in that they are right, but as you say, if they share them with someone they must also be willing to listen to what they have to say to them. If it doesn't become a monologue that leaves you exhausted and without energy. I hope you and your friend find a balance point so that you both feel comfortable.
