What a beautiful Sunday it was today! It rained for four days, and today there was finally a little more sun and some clouds. Although I had planned something else yesterday, I decided to go for a walk after lunch. It was too nice a day not to go outside.
Without my wife, without my kids, without my dog, in short, alone with my plans, problems, fears, challenges, and ideas that are only in my mind and nowhere else.
At the outset, my wife did not accompany me, as she went mushroom picking with a friend in the morning. It may be too early for mushrooms, but she did bring something back. It ended up on our lunch plates :) 😋
I went to my field and back, but not like I usually do when I drive there to do some work or pick some crops. I went "around the ass in my pocket," which is a Slovenian expression meaning to go somewhere or do something by a longer route.
The weather was perfect, 23 degrees Celsius, some sun and some shade. And lots of photos, so this post fits best in the Photo-Essay Community.
First, a few minutes down the street in the town, shadows, clouds, even some flowers, and an interesting fence with reflections that I hadn't noticed before, even though I often walk around there.
And then I head towards the fields where the view opens up to the hills and, of course, the clouds.
I am now about halfway there, crossing the bridge over the Reka River, which, despite several days of rain, appears quite calm, but in autumn can flood this plain, as seen in the photos. On the other side of the river, I return toward the field.
The clouds looked remarkably creamy, like the foam on perfect beer. I'm writing this as a beer lover :) 😜🍻

Some details as I advance toward the field, let's say they are macro photos :) 😜
Now I'm in the field, and the two big pumpkins for Halloween are still here; nobody stole or ate them 😀
And towards the main road, which is quite busy, tourists are returning from vacations.
I'll be home soon, having taken a 5 km walk, which took about an hour and a half, as I was taking photos.
And finally, the wild chestnut tree. When the fruits open, it means autumn has arrived. They haven't opened yet.
