August 2nd, 2025This week's raffle saw a climb from the BRONZE into SILVER territory from @luvinlyf, who increased her delegation from 50 HP to 100 HP. But in the world of delegation activity, that is the only one to speak of this week. Of course your delegations do much more than make you eligible for this big weekly raffle. There are daily footer raffles, commenter support, increased potential upvotes, monthly HBD Savings rewards, and many more perks that come with being an ASEAN Hive delegator.
As always, things are a little later than normal. What can I say? I'm a caregiver to someone with congestive heart failure, the involved parent, the only family member with a driver's license, and I also do ASEAN Hive on the side at night after everyone falls asleep. It's not sustainable nor healthy, and for far too many years I have been working on the computer til the wee hours of the morning and sleeping only 4-6 hours per night. Coming to the USA was not a good choice if I was hoping for more freetime, things have only gotten worse in that regard.
I am always two to four days behind on my ASEAN Hive work, and I must say it's a stressful feeling. I also miss making blog posts and reading posts, but it just seems I don't have the time and I just haven't been in the right headspace for this. I don't want to make posts complaining about life, but I feel that is the only content I could produce these days. I am hoping for change, and it looks like my oldest daughter is going to step up and take some of my daily responsibilities and duties away from me so that I can go to sleep at the same time as everyone else in the house.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 199,107 HP, and total delegated HP is 185,089 HP (139,054 minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
