Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment HSBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too. We had a lot more comments than usual last week. I love it! Maybe I should make another tier to my HSBI giveaway. Something like if I get more than 20 comments, I give away double the HSBI, or something like that. If this post gets another large amount of commenters, I’ll consider it!
Boy, so how about yesterday, eh? Blocktrades brings attention to the return proposal by upvoting it above everything, then just as most of Hive is cheering, he pulls it away. What’s up wth that, eh? I suppose he just wanted to spark a discussion, which he certainly has!.
Anyway, let’s get on with the goals.
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My current goal is 60k Hive.
Last week I made 234.64, bringing me to 43090.29 total Hive Power. That’s 71.8% of my goal!
Math time. 60k - 43090.29 gives us 16909.71. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 53.2 Hive needed per day to reach 60k by that point.
And… I’m still losing ground. That number was 52.8 last week.
Edit: Oh, I stopped my power-down. Not like I was doing much with it anyway—I was just immediately powering-up each payment as it came. My hope was that we'd get another HIVE pump and I could play the market and increase my HP faster by doing so, but... well, I guess I just got tired of waiting. If the pumps start again, I'll consider doing another power-down.
Second Layer Tokens
And… nothing much here. Well I did pick up a bunch of GIFU last week. I’m not making a goal here, at least not yet, but I do like GIFU and pick some up when I think of it.
Otherwise, it seems like Hive Engine is still kind of broken, though doing better than it was. I’m still thinking about my options in expanding to other chains. Solana seems the prime candidate in my discussions with people, or at least the most popular one, but I don’t know. Still thinking about my options, and hoping @raymondspeaks makes me rich in the meantime.

Oh man, that is amazing. Hokusai’s Great Wave is of course probably the most famous woodblock print in the world. I am adding this to the order I talked about making last week.
