Hi friends and Hivans. Coming to Hive was a great joy but a greater joy when I found and started using the Ecency frontend. All along, I started here on Hive in the year 2021 and it has been a great journey. The best of the moments I share here can be attached to a great extent with #Ecency.
This front-end is a lot easier and friendly. I needed little or no tutorial to find my way around. But you know, as they say, there is no perfect system. There are usually one or two deficiencies that have to be worked upon to get an almost best system.
For Ecency, I would like to suggest the following add-ups to make the application a lot more friendlier and welcoming. These suggestions however are based on my personal experience while working on the front-end.
ACCESS TO ECENCY POINTS
One thing that draws me to the Ecency app is that you get paid for every action. Hence, it is motivating you to come here because the reward is eye-catching and very useful for anyone who wishes to survive and make ends meet on Hive. One area where this can be improved is that there are too many rejections from using the Ecency points.
I would like to suggest to the app developer to look into this with cursory use. I perceive that the number of people who use or apply for the use of the Ecency points to promote or boost one post or the other is high. For me, I have had too many failed attempts in the past which may be affecting other users too.
May I suggest that the moderators of this front-end make it easier for people to use their point freely as the bureaucracy around this is right, making a lot of users abandon their points and seek refuge elsewhere?
WALLET OPTIONS
When compared with other front-end, one would find out that the Ecency wallet does not give you a detailed balance of all that you have in your wallet as it were elsewhere. The Hive-engine tokens are not accessible here. To make this place a permanent home for all, the wallet should be made with fuller options such that an account holder can find or locate other tokens contained in the HiveHive engine
I believe these are the two areas where the app can be better than what it currently is.
