Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. I missed the result screen of the previous brawl so I need to pay a bit more attention. I did visit the page but it was quite late, and I forgot to take screenshots.
Brawl fights
I won 2 fights due to a surrender, won 1 fight and lost the other 4. I also had 2 free wins from guilds not submitting fights, so that would be 5 wins and 4 losses. I saw this from the guild page, but I forgot to screenshot. Below is an idea of the match and a few thoughts about it, but it wasn't the best brawl.
You can find the first match here. I lost this match because my opponent had the stronger lineup. The double bloodlust monsters plus the speed advantage was too much for me. I got destroyed as they wiped out my monsters so fast, and I could barely do any damage.
You can find the second match here. I lost this match because my opponent had the stronger lineup. It was equal or so at the start, but I think my opponent's level and damage advantage just overcame me over time.
You can find the third match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. All thos magic monsters plus the summoner with increased magic damage was too much.
You can find the fourth match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. I didn't have many choices, and I think my opponent was smart to have a magic monster in the back to add on extra damage.
You can find the fifth match here. I won this match because I had the stronger lineup. I was worried about the magic monsters, but my melee monsters just dealt a ton of damage, and they didn't miss. This let me outdamage my opponent and win the match.
Brawl Result
I chose the gold foil modern Brawl, and I got 2 wins and 5 losses. I did decent this time, but I think my guild placed around 9th place this time again. Our guild just hasn't been doing so great lately.
Conclusion
The brawl was decent for me, and the rewards do add up. It's more or less inline with what I got from my previous brawls as my guild is constantly in that 6th to 8th place range lately. I did decent on my fights, but its hard to rank high with just one person doing well.
