Discontinuing Ecency Leaderboard Challenge

We have made the decision to end the Ecency Leaderboard Challenge.

We encourage true engagement and want to see thoughtful comments that will help your account grow. This challenge has served its purpose much better than we anticipated.

Sometimes ranking could be gamed and we think we need to find a better approach to determine a fair way to host a different sort of engagement challenge in the future, For now, I encourage all of you to give out comment votes and Ecency Point gifts when you see great engagement.

Are you on the Leaderboard?

If you are using the Ecency.com website the Leaderboard can be found under DISCOVER at the top left menu beside the Ecency icon. Click on 'Most Active' to switch views between Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. On the app you can see the Leaderboard opposite the notifications.

Where do you place on the Leaderboard? Can you raise your level by next week?

This is a great tool for a personal challenge to gauge your accounts growth!

Changes are good! I have enjoyed this leaderboard a lot, even though I joined late, but it made me feel motivated and inspired to engage, which is an important part of being successful on this platform. While I'm sad to see this come to and end (I was the last one at the #1 spot when the Hive Engagement League came to end end, too), I understand, and I had a feeling that something like this was coming, because I was noticing the gaming. Why not collect the data in the same way that it was done in the Engagement League, but focused on Enency? I know that several metrics were used.
