I was at home this afternoon. I was feeling hungry and after I was done cooking, I put on my fan so I can eat while getting some fresh air.
Immediately I put on the fan, an amount of dust blew on my body. Immediately, I put it off and thought of cleaning the fan before eating my food.
Estuve en casa esta tarde. Me sentía hambre y después de haber terminado de cocinar, me puse el ventilador para poder comer mientras tomaba aire fresco.
Inmediatamente me puse el ventilador, una cantidad de polvo sopló en mi cuerpo. Inmediatamente, lo pospongo y pensé en limpiar el ventilador antes de comer mi comida.
If I decide to clean the fan inside the house, everywhere will look so messy and dusty so I brought out the fan while I covered my food inside the house.
I soaked a napkin inside a soapy water which I used to clean the fan.
Let’s take a look at how the fan looked like and how dirty it was.
Si decido limpiar el ventilador dentro de la casa, en todas partes se verá tan desordenada y polvorienta, así que saqué el ventilador mientras cubría mi comida dentro de la casa.
Empapé una servilleta dentro de un agua jabonosa que solía limpiar el ventilador.

While cleaning, I made sure to clean every part of it. Firstly, I removed the front cover of the fan. If I don’t remove it, I won’t do a clean job because the blades will still be dusty and there may be no point cleaning the fan then. I cleaned the blades with the napkin. I had a soapy water and a very clean one. The soapy will be used for washing while the clean will be used to rinse it.
Mientras limpiaba, me aseguré de limpiar cada parte de ella. En primer lugar, quité la cubierta delantera del ventilador. Si no lo elimino, no haré un trabajo limpio porque las cuchillas seguirán siendo polvorientas y puede que no haya sentido limpiar el ventilador. Limpié las cuchillas con la servilleta. Tenía un agua jabonosa y muy limpia. El jabón se usará para lavar mientras la limpieza se usará para enjuagarla.
After I was done cleaning the blades, I washed the back of the fan. That feels like the most dusty part of the fan and I made sure to give it a thorough washing. I squeezed the napkin into those holes so those parts will be clean too.
Después de que terminé de limpiar las cuchillas, lavé la parte posterior del ventilador. Esa se siente como la parte más polvorienta del ventilador y me aseguré de darle un lavado completo. Apreté la servilleta en esos agujeros para que esas piezas también estén limpias.
Then, I went ahead to the front cover of the fan. I scrubbed it very well. Doing this part was easier because I was able to sit while doing it. It took me sometime but I did it well.
Luego, seguí adelante con la portada del ventilador. Lo froté muy bien. Hacer esta parte fue más fácil porque pude sentarme mientras lo hacía. Me tomó algún tiempo pero lo hice bien.
Lastly, I cleaned the root of the fan. It was so dusty so I scrubbed it with the napkin and cleaned it with the clean water.
Por último, limpié la raíz del ventilador. Era tan polvoriento, así que lo froté con la servilleta y la limpié con el agua limpia.
That’s how I cleaned my standing fan and after I was done, I took my bath and ate my food while getting some fresh air from the fan. Here is the picture of my standing fan after I was done washing.
