I have been asked quite often if I knew any free AI video generation models. Almost always I said no because the ones that I knew were simply not of sufficient quality to work with. The AI world however is evolving like no other sector. I've tested two free video models: Meta AI and Grok AI
What’s tested in this video:
- Text-to-video quality and realism
- Image-to-video performance
- Physics and motion accuracy
- Identity consistency (identity drift)
- Video resolution & upscaling
- Audio and voice generation
- Video length extension workflows
- Style handling (anime & non-human worlds)
- Text animation quality
My verdict
Even if both models are maybe not as strong as the current market leader (veo 3.1 or kling 2.6) they actually do a surprisingly good job. Both models are free to use with a certain daily usage limitation. If you want to learn how to use AI video generation, they are definitely a great place to do your first steps. In the video, I share some tips how to use these platforms best.
I'd love to get your feed-back
In the past months, I've studied a lot in terms of youtube content generation. I even bought a new camera. This is the first video, in which I put all that I learned into action and I would love to know if you notice a change in respect to my previous videos :-).
With @ph1102, I'm running the @liotes project.
