Baby orange in tiny hands!

in HiveGarden8 days ago

Just two or three days ago, we all met at my elder brother's house for lunch. In his backyard, I saw that he had planted several kinds of fruits and vegetables. I had given him some of them myself, but they were very small back then, and now, having been planted in the ground, they looked quite large and healthy. Although his backyard is still in the developing stage, there are quite a few plants there, and among them, I spotted a small plant, about two or three feet tall, with some very small fruits growing on it. One of them was fully ripe, and seeing it, I thought, "Why not pick it?"

So I asked my brother's son, who is about two years old, to pick the fruit. He picked it and gave it to me. Until then, everyone thought it was probably a lemon, but I suspected it was an orange because I had a plant of this variety many years ago. But, keeping the surprise intact, I slowly started peeling the small fruit.

The adults were all engrossed in their conversations, but the children had surrounded me, and their excitement was growing with each peel. As the shape of the fruit became clearer, it became obvious that it was an orange. Since this baby orange was very small, I peeled it very carefully without damaging it.🍊

Seeing this tiny orange, all the children started jumping with joy, and then the adults also came over to see what the fuss was about. Everyone was amazed by this sight of nature, because we had all seen such a small orange for the first time. Then it was time to taste the orange slices, so I gave one slice to each of the children and their parents, which made all their teeth tingle with sourness.😝
