Within Destruction - Demon Child

Within Destruction is a new name for me, although they released their sixth album, AniMetal, a week ago. The trio, consisting of two Slovenians and an American, is steadily making its way up the charts with its version of melodic metal, which they call Animetal. The name is a composite of the two terms, Anima and Metal. The trio brings themes from anime and manga into the music, mixing other genres such as J- and K-pop, electronica, industrial sounds, trap, and more.
The song "Demon Child" is the poppiest of them all. It's a melodic metal that quickly catches the ear and will delight fans.

🎵 🎧 🎵

Gigi Perez - Chemistry

Gigi Perez is a young American indie pop singer, songwriter, and musician. She became famous when her songs "Celine" and "Sailor Song" went viral on the social media platform TikTok.
Then, she was signed by the major record label Island Records (UMG), and now she has announced her solo album, 'At the Beach, in Every Life,' which is set to be released next week.
The song "Chemistry" is a pure pop song with lush vocal arrangements. It's doing quite well in the charts.

🎵 🎧 🎵

Rivers of Nihil - Water & Time

Rivers Of Nihil is a band from Reading, Pennsylvania. They have been steadily playing and developing their version of technical death metal for over 15 years. So far, they have released two EPs and four studio albums. A fifth album, featuring the band's name, is announced for May.
The song Water and Time is the trailer and single for the new album. It's detailed and melodic, and fans will love it.

🎵 🎧 🎵

Messa - Fire on the Roof

Messa is an Italian band from Citadella that has been playing hard rock with elements of doom, metal, and goth since 2014. Last week, they released their fourth album, The Spin.
The song Fire on the Roof is the first single from the new album, and there will probably be more to come.

🎵 🎧 🎵

Circuit des Yeux - Canopy of Eden

Circuit des Yeux hails from Chicago. It is the second name for artist Haley Fohr, who has been on the music scene since 2015 and is no stranger to performing with just vocals and guitar or engaging an orchestra of over 20 musicians of strings, wind instruments, and percussion. She is characterized by a deep and resonant alto voice, a remarkable vocal range of four octaves, and playing a 12-string guitar.
On her latest, fifth album, Halo on the Inside, released in March, she experiments with synths and samples, enhancing the soundscape with her exceptional vocals.
The song "Canopy of Eden" could easily have become a major pop and dance hit with the backing of major record labels.

🎵 🎧 🎵

Tunde Adebimpe - God Knows

Tunde Adebimpe, a Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer, and actor, is best known for his involvement in the band TV On Radio, with whom he has performed since 2004, and for his roles in films and TV series. Today, he has released his first solo album, Thee Black Boltz, on SubPop.
God Knows is a surprisingly catchy, upbeat pop song that will please many.

🎵 🎧 🎵

John Dwyer - NEIGHBORHOOD DOG

John Dwyer, an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and owner of the Castle Face record label from Los Angeles, is a true veteran of the rock underground. He has been performing with the garage band Osees since 1997 and has recorded 23 albums. He has also worked with Coachwhips, Pink and Brown, Zeigenbock Kopf, The Hospitals, Yikes, and a few more. Just today, he released his solo album Chime Oblivion.
The song Neighborhood Dog is the opening track of the new album. Uncompromising rock'n'roll. For those who don't know what it is.

Garbage - There's No Future In Optimism

Garbage is an American band that has been on the music scene since 1993. They have short breaks but always have the same lineup. Alternative rock with a sprinkling of pop, electronica, shoegaze, and much more, a mix of everything you've heard before but always original. They've released seven studio albums, sold over 17 million, and topped the charts every time. And 15 world tours, after which they released live albums. They have amassed 57 nominations and 17 Grammy and Brit Awards. They are also known as one of the world's major concert attractions - a top band, of course.
With the song There's No Future In Optimism, they announce their eighth album, Let All That We Imagine Be the Light, which will be released at the end of May.

🎶That's all for today, and enjoy your weekend with new songs!

Big fan of Messa here. Saw them live a couple times. Their previous album Close is amazing, really deep and emotional

Wow, really! That's great! The band is new to me, but I feel the energy and musical knowledge from all of them.

Yes, I talked to them and everyone comes from a different music genre and found common ground in this kind of doom rock with some fusion-jazz influences. Watching them live is like a trip into a dark forest

👍

Tunde Adebimpe right at the front. Right behind Garbage. What John Dwyer delivers is a very poor copy of Lucilectric.

I would agree with the first two, the Circuit des Yeux is the biggest surprise for me, but the last comparison seems out of place.
