Hello, everyone! ππ·
Last week, Happy December began in our town with the opening of the December fair featuring local handicrafts and New Year's gifts. Since I was out for a walk, trying to make the most of every sunny day, I also documented this start in photo-walk-blog.
Yesterday, they turned on the Christmas lights, meaning they lit up all the street decorations, so I went for a night walk. There were no people around, partly because the nights are freezing, it was -5 Β°C, the real celebrations haven't started yet, and today was a working day.
First, roundabouts in the town.

This is the largest Christmas tree in the old town center, where celebrations usually take place outside, and the mayor also comes to wish all residents a happy holiday.

The municipal building and the courthouse seem to me to have been more decorated last year.

I continue down the street. As I mentioned, it's cold. Now and then, a car drives by, and there are only a few people around.

Continue to the town park. The wooden bridges over the lake are also illuminated.

There is also an ice rink placed on the basketball court in the town park, where there was still some activity.

And now to a fairy-tale children's land.

I'm heading home, and I see they've opened a new bar, apartments, and a billiards hall very close to me. One day, I'll go check it out, maybe they have some beer I haven't tasted yet.
I'll report back :)

It seems to me there are fewer decorations this year than last, but that's just my opinion. Let's hope that some snow falls to improve the atmosphere.
I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2026 in advance.
Thank you for your attention. π π· π
