A night watchman sees a drunk man walking along a tree-lined sidewalk. The drunk man bumps into a tree, says “Sorry!”, keeps walking until he bumps into the next tree, and repeats this about three more times.
Then the drunk man sits down, and the watchman approaches him to ask if he's alright. The drunk man replies:
“Yes, I'm fine. I just sat down to wait for the parade to finish because I got tired of being bumped into.”

Un guardia nocturno ve pasar un borracho por una acera con árboles. El borracho choca con un árbol, dice “Perdón”, sigue caminando hasta chocar con el siguiente árbol, y repetir todo esto unas tres veces más.
En eso el borracho se sienta y el guardia se le acerca a preguntar si está bien, y el borracho le responde:
“Si estoy bien, solo me senté a esperar que termine de pasar el desfile, porque me cansé de que me tropiecen”.
