We all know what happened to the Titanic. After striking an iceberg on April 14, 1912 it now rests at about 12,000 feet below sea level. Approximately 1,517 people died,
White Star Line itself never fully recovered from the disaster and in 1934 the company merged with Cunard to become Cunard White Star
Titanic’s mirror image sister ship, the Olympic, become outdated and was sold for scrap.
Britannic, was a sister ship of the Olympic and the Titanic. Having never operated as a commercial vessel, it was refitted as a hospital ship during World War I and sank in 1916, after striking a mine.
My kids went to the Titanic exhibit that is currently in Chicago.
Titanic: The Exhibition is making its way to Westfield Old Orchard in Chicago after a sold-out run in Macau, Moscow, Riga Latvia, Perth, Sydney, and LA. It brings with it an interactive experience that allows you to step inside recreations of the Titanic’s interior. Immerse yourself in the stories of its passengers, see hundreds of artifacts, and discover the tale of the design, creation, launch, maiden voyage, and tragedy of the historic ship. source
Upon entering the exhibit each person is assigned an identity of a passenger and at the end can see if their passenger survived or not.
At the end of the exhibit you can check this wall to see if your passenger lived or died. Only 706 people survived.

The Titanic was the largest ship of its time and the food it served was an insight into the social disparities which existed, with first-class passengers enjoying a ten-course meal for dinner.
First-class tickets ranged enormously in price from $150 ($3,967 today) for a simple berth to $4,350 ($115,060 today) for a Parlour Suite.

First class
First class passengers were served three multi-course meals a day in the ship's large dining saloon. The night the Titanic sank, first class passengers enjoyed a lavish meal of oysters, salmon, beef, squab, lamb, and roast chicken
Second class
Served traditional British food like curried chicken, baked fish, spring lamb, mutton, and roast turkey. Second class passengers also had plum pudding for dessert on the night the Titanic sank.
Third class
Served a scaled-down version of the food served to second class passengers, but instead of dinner, third class passengers had high tea, which included a hot course. There are no surviving menus from third class on the night the Titanic sank, so it's not clear what those passengers ate.
Broken third class bowl recovered from Halifax harbor. It seems trash was thrown out the potholes when ships were in Port.
