I love nature themes, so for this design, it entails a small child who befriends a squirrel. In their encounter, she offers the animal a gift. The pine cone is a welcome site.
In preparing my theme, I was fortunate to discover a lovely free-sourced image of a child playing in water in which she encounters a squirrel. The expression on both their faces are precious. It inspired me to utilized the item in the girl's hand to transform to a cone to match the one on the contest post.
I then colored the cone purple. A soothing and serene hue. I used a pure fractal I created in the advanced fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X.
Below are the steps I utilized in Canv, my design program, a to blend the different type images. I envisioned using the photo of the girl and squirrel as the background looming large in the scene.
I began with a blank, white canvas, then added layers of elements, removing backgrounds, resizing, duplicating, colorizing, and repositioning items as needed incorporating the tools at my disposal in my Annual Pro Membership Subscription.
