I was born in a beautiful city on the Mediterranean coast, but ever since I was a child, I always spent my summers in my grandparents' village, and that was probably the best time of year for me. The truth is, I've been lucky to live in privileged places, so comparisons with other places might be biased. But the fact is, as soon as I had the chance, I moved to the countryside.

But why did I do it? First, because I wanted to live in a house and stop living in a tiny apartment. My hometown was fantastic, but the apartment where I was born wasn't. I needed space, and that's what I was looking for. Living in the countryside or in a small town isn't all positive, and services are often far away, so I chose a house not too far from the city. But of course, that comes at a price. The best thing for me is the possibility of raising my children in a pleasant, safe, and stress-free place.
Over the years, however, I've realized something I hadn't considered when I moved: living in the countryside is significantly cheaper and saves a ton of time. There are no waiting lists or queues. That extra time allows you to make better, and above all, much more profitable decisions for both me and my family. So, I'm definitely sticking with the countryside.
