I have 100 posts to write, and I just can't find the words or motivation right now - but that doesn't mean I am not motivated, or I don't have words. There is always "something" to do, and we are doing a lot of things. So today, I will share a few pictures and some Twitter strategies that I have been learning over time - and let's see if they work.

This tweet is sitting at 310 visualizations, and honestly its one of my best tweets in the last several months. I think (as always), I struggle on social media for lack of "picking a niche", I am not a niche guy, I have many niches. I am a niche-forward fellow, I want to type about whatever I am thinking about and I refuse to allow an algorithm from stopping me from doing what is natural to me - express myself as a human in all the niches that interest me in the moments they are interesting to me.
It all fits together in my head - this is who I am! But let's look a little closer at this tweet - notice I use the word Hive in a way that doesn't really make people run the other way because "crypto".
Hide it in plain site
I let other people use Insta - Twitter is my go-to "plain site", but its tricky because some of the keywords we want to reach people about seem to be.... complicated. I think maybe if I got a checkmark again, its possible I would unlock more visibility, but to be honest - I have almost no interest in doing it. It didn't seem worth it, and I did give it the old college try last year.
I much prefer finding sneaky strats, guerilla marketing as they say (which is not the same as gorilla marketing, where you hop around and beat your chest like a gorilla). Its about being a bit sneaky, 2 scoops of clever and even better if there is some wit and charm along the way.
I got this tweet to these "high numbers", up in the 300s, by Pinning It.
Work the Pin
This is something I learned from the estimable @hivetrending, if you "pin" a tweet to your blog - there is a high chance (or "guarantee", whatever that means in web2) that your followers will see it over the next XX hours. Of course, terms and conditions apply - for example they actually have to log in to see it.
But this strategy is not immediately obvious, or at least it wasn't to me - I used the Pinned Tweet to "say something" about myself. But now, I am rotating them much more frequently, something like "my best tweet IMO" in the last few days. This gives it much more reach among my followers, especially without paying for that check mark.
I don't pin every tweet, just the ones that I think might be most widely applicable to my broad range of followers including the ecologically-interested, crypto-hardcores and family/friends.
Moments in time
Remember the days when social media was just about posting a picture when a bunch of friends got together? Yeah, I think these types of things still work. Maybe not to get a million followers - but to prove I am a human. I am not just some Splinterlands shiller - I am a human who also replies to Splinterlands content occasionally. I use my twitter with care, to try to avoid those "unfollows".

In life there are these moments, and sprinkling these into a Twitter feed is probably more effective than logging into d.buzz; it doesn't really matter how I feel about this - I think its the truth.
People building stuff
Finally, people I know, people who are my friends - they are also building things. There is no need to force keywords; I just respond with positive energy, a like and a reply. This helps them, and my reply might also appear on my feed, showing that I am a collaborative human, interested in what other people are doing and building - not just a guy who only shills his own things. I think this makes me look like a "good human", and not a shillbot. I like that - and suspect it might be more effective to actually have (and make) friends than just shouting into the abyss.
What tips do you have for me?
Do you use Twitter? What do you think about my strats of Pinning, Social Selfies and like and reply? Is there any great strategies I am missing? Let me know in the comments below!
