Saludos, amigos de la comunidad @holos-lotus, con bastante emoción acepto esta invitación de nuestro amigo @emiliorios, para darle apoyo y empuje a estos nuevos amigos, que vamos conociendo a través del poder de la palabra escrita.
Esta publicación está dedicada a todos los que se inician, especialmente a @geyler13 y @lupetorres, dos escritores cubanos.
Hace poco tiempo, @geyler se puso en contacto conmigo porque quería una asesoría para un proyecto que deseaba comenzar en Hive; luego no supe más de él, hasta hoy que, motivada por esta iniciativa de @emiliorios, lo ubiqué de nuevo, porque su estilo de escritura me gusta, y me enteré que está viviendo las consecuencias del paso de un ciclón en Cuba, lo que ha traído problemas de electricidad muy severos en la zona donde vive, lo cual le ha impedido escribir recientemente. También quiero apoyar a @lupetorres, quien ha participado en mis iniciativas; ella comenzó en mayo y es estudiante de Comunicación Social. Para ellos y todos los que recién hayan empezado y sienten que necesitan un estímulo, va mi publicación.
Comenzar a escribir en Hive puede ser una experiencia extraordinaria por la variedad de tópicos que se manejan en ella. Es una plataforma de escritura, pero también lo es de lectura, de intercambio y de aprendizaje. En cada comunidad hay normas y difieren con respecto a la temática y a quién va dirigida, cuántas palabras como mínimo aceptan, qué idioma debe prevalecer, cuáles etiquetas, entre otras.
El plagio está prohibido, esta es una norma g
eneral. Quien plagia es un individuo sin escrúpulos que piensa que los demás son tontos y no se van a dar cuenta y no va a ser descubierto. Infringir esta regla es una manera de "perder el chivo y el mecate", como decimos popularmente en mi país.
También es un error hacer uso de la inteligencia artificial tanto en el texto escrito como en las imágenes, esto último porque es muy importante darle derecho de autor y con la IA esto se pierde. Todos tenemos acceso a la cámara de nuestro teléfono celular, por lo que volvernos fotógrafos pasa a ser también un valor agregado. Hay muchos usuarios que han dado sus cursos de fotografía en distintas comunidades.
Hay páginas que ofrecen recursos gratuitos de donde se pueden extraer imágenes, pero siempre es importante copiar el link de la misma para mejor desempeño.
Dejar que la IA escriba por nosotros es la mejor manera de hacer secar nuestro propio cerebro, de perder fluidez y estrategias para razonar por sí mismo. Si las usas, te descubrirán de igual manera.
Evita escribir acerca de lo que cualquiera puede conseguir "googleando". Tu mirada, visión, experiencia, anécdotas, curiosidades, forma de ver el mundo, ocurrencias y vida vivida es lo mejor que tienes para expresarte. Sé tú mismo.
Se puede escribir desde: [Hive] (https://hive.blog/), Peakd o Ecency; la primera a veces es más lenta para abrir en el computador, dependiendo del internet, pero tiene la ventaja de que se guarda el escrito si estás trabajando directamente y se cae la electricidad. Peakd es más rápida y trae gifs que pueden utilizarse, por supuesto, aclarando la fuente y Ecency tiene su criptomoneda que vas acumulando. Por donde quiera que escribas, vas a poder verte en cualquiera de las tres.
Yo suelo hacerme una "chuleta" antes de darle al botón publicar; ya tengo mucho tiempo en la plataforma; sin embargo, me ha pasado que, entre tanta actualización de la página, se haya borrado la comunidad y el post me queda en el blog, totalmente invisible. Entonces ahora, antes de subirlo, reviso cómo escribí las etiquetas, si tengo el número de palabras, si no quedó un código visible, si mencioné al autor de la iniciativa y dejé el link de la misma. Me tomo mi tiempo; aun así, puede surgir algo.
Reviso tanto porque tengo un tema con mi imagen personal; me gusta eso del estilo propio y lo que define la marca personal. Creo que la escritura habla por nosotros y respetar al potencial lector tiene que ver con eso.
Trabajar en Hive también tiene que ver con la paciencia, constancia y las propias metas a corto, mediano o largo plazo, según las necesidades de cada uno. Es fácil frustrarse, pero es más fácil aprender. El conocimiento está a la vuelta de la esquina y en Hive se crece en ese sentido pero también en el encuentro con el otro.
Cuando inicié, antes de la bifurcación, empecé dando tumbos; contaba con mis propias creencias, ya tenía un blog personal sobre educación, también de años, pero esto era diferente; esta interacción más directa y amable que no se consigue fácilmente afuera me dejó una grata impresión.
Mis palabras tuvieron respuestas de una mexicana, Sulemna; ella no siguió, y una usuaria de Villa de Cura, Venezuela, @lunasilver, con quien ahora tengo contacto a través de Facebook. El apoyo de estas mujeres fue grandioso y aquí sigo, ya perdí la cuenta del número de personas que se volvieron amistades, nombrarlos significa dejar a alguien por fuera. Quiero que sepas que también puedes contar conmigo.

Recently, @geyler contacted me because he wanted advice on a project he wanted to start on Hive; Then I didn't hear from him again until today, when, motivated by this initiative from @emiliorios, I found him again because I like his writing style. I learned that he's experiencing the consequences of a cyclone in Cuba, which has caused severe power outages in his area, preventing him from writing recently. I also want to support @lupetorres, who has participated in my initiatives; she started in May and is a Social Communication student. This post is for them and everyone who has just started and feels they need encouragement.
Starting to write on Hive can be an extraordinary experience because of the variety of topics covered. It's a writing platform, but it's also a platform for reading, sharing, and learning. Letting AI write for us is the best way to dry up our own brains, to lose fluency and strategies for reasoning independently. If you use AI, you'll be found out anyway.
Avoid writing about things anyone can find by "Googling." Your perspective, vision, experience, anecdotes, curiosities, worldview, insights, and life experiences are the best you have to express yourself. Be yourself.
You can write from: Hive (https://hive.blog/), Peakd (https://peakd.com/), or Ecency (https://ecency.com/); the first one is sometimes slower to open on your computer, depending on your internet connection, but it has the advantage of saving your writing if you're working directly and the power goes out. Peakd is faster and offers GIFs that can be used, of course, with proper attribution, and Ecency has its own cryptocurrency that you accumulate. Wherever you write, you'll be able to see yourself on any of the three.
I usually make a "cheat sheet" before hitting the publish button; I've been on the platform for a long time. However, it's happened that, with so many website updates, the community has been deleted, and the post remains in my blog, completely invisible. So now, before uploading, I check how I wrote the tags, if I have the correct word count, if there's no visible code, if I mentioned the author of the initiative and included the link. I take my time; even so, something can come up.
I check so much because I have a thing about my personal image; I like the idea of having your own style and what defines your personal brand. I believe that writing speaks for us, and respecting the potential reader is part of that.
Working on Hive is about patience, perseverance, and setting your own short-, medium-, or long-term goals, depending on your individual needs. It's easy to get frustrated, but it's even easier to learn. Knowledge is just around the corner, and on Hive, you grow in that sense, but also through connecting with others.
When I started, before the fork in the road, I stumbled along; I had my own beliefs, and I already had a personal blog about education, which I'd also been running for years, but this was different. This more direct and friendly interaction, which isn't easily found outside, left a great impression on me.
My words received responses from a Mexican woman, Sulemna; she didn't continue, and from a user from Villa de Cura, Venezuela, @lunasilver, with whom I'm now in contact through Facebook. The support from these women was tremendous, and here I am. I've lost count of the number of people who have become friends; naming them all would mean leaving someone out. I want you to know that you can count on me too.
