Another Day

Creative minds are uneven, and the best of fabrics have their dull spots. ― H.P. Lovecraft

I figured it would get easier. I sit and stare at a blank page, the words just don't come to me. I know a bit part of it is from work. When I come home from working for someone else, I don't have the energy to be productive for myself. I hate that.

I figured I could at least share another code update. Hit some pretty good targets, and might have something to show as soon as tomorrow? maybe? We'll see.

Right now I need to get some food in me and some much needed sleep. Perhaps with fresh eyes, this page will not look as blank? Doubt it. I did read a pretty good article on Discovery Coding, much like discovery writing, how some people fumble at the code until they learn to get it to work, as opposed to being organized and pre planned.

I have read about things like jira tickets, and "did you submit an issue with that problem?" type work, and I don't know that I could work that way. @ecoinstant and I have a pretty good rapport, and I like the way we work. Maybe one day we/I will be more organized, but until then. I just mash keys until it does what I want.

I don't take notes; I don't outline, I don't do anything like that. I just flail away at the goddamn thing. - Stephen King

Just don't forget the unit tests :)

And I will never ask you for anything more! (or less!)
