Good morning Asean hive, today I will be sharing some of our activities in the province. It's time again to harvest some fish for our lunch. Me and my brother in law took a net that we will use to catch the fish, this net is supposed to be a shade but we have nothing to use, so we improvised.
The pond is very calm when we went there, It was just a small pond but this small pond holds a lot of Tilapia.
So me and my brother went in and spread the net, the net is so wide that it covered the whole floor of the pond. It's our first time using it so we'll gonna see if it is a good tool for netting fish.
When we lifted the net , It was so heavy, we though its because of the water at first but when we fully pulled it out , to our surprise it caught a lot of fish. Since the holes are small , even small fishes were caught.
At first look it has little fish, but when we unfolded the other part of the net, there they are hiding.
We took just enough number for our dinner , I lost count but I think we got line 15-20 Tilapia in one netting.
A lot of them are already overgrown, it's fine since we just have this pond for our consumption.
So we took it home, and I started cleaning them.
I was tasked to do the cleaning, it's an easy task so I won't mind doing it. And of course my son is here very curious with our catch. But I think his real purpose being here is to see if I'm cleaning the fishes according to his standards. hehe.
So after cleaning my sister also did the frying. We are still using wood here in the province ,specially when we are not rushing to cook our food.
A few rounds of frying and the Fried Tilapia is good to serve, so It's time to eat this fresh from the pond Tilapia .
