I came across a factoid a few days ago. The wonderful @shadowspub is now over 500 consecutive days of posting. That's 16 months and some odd days of posting every day. Well done my friend!
My posting schedule has been less consistent. Indeed, though starting the year with good intentions, there just hasn't been the brain space to do so.
But there's a good opportunity to start re-engaging as I head towards the end of my 2nd full year as a Hivian.
firstly, I found I can use the @threespeak mobile app to produce audio only content. I'm going to start using that to record some poetry and some short stories. Initially they will be ones that are probably already on Hive to read, but hopefully it may help jog me out of a small writing slump.
secondly, there is a fantastic summer of sport ahead - for those of us interested in such. The cricket T20 world cup starts in a week's time; the Euros begin two weeks later; the Olympics begin in late July.
I'm looking to do some sort of round up of matches and events on a daily basis during the tournaments so that the regular writing and thingking about writing muscle gets some exercise.
we'll see how it goes.
