No I haven't but will put on my watch list now, thanks for the heads. I just listened to the tunes above, sure is a lot going on, but I like them. Any other good movies (music related or otherwise) to recommend?
On the music topic I enjoyed Drumline and Metal Lords fairly recently. It can be hard to capture what it's really like to be a musician.
Oh and the classic 80's film crossroads and yesterday which is an interesting one for sure
well only the classics like the blues brothers or the commitment... then quite alot of biographical ones like the queen one is good
I've been playing around with some swing tunes with some friends and am finding the drumming challenging. I'm not up to doing Caravan at that speed! Whiplash is a cool film, but may not be an accurate portrayal of what jazz school is like. Any teacher who behaved like that might get sacked.
