Marriage is not to be defiled. It should not be built upon lust and fornication. Building it with holiness is ideal. It is a good thing that those who are intending to marry should conduct themselves in a holy manner. We should not have the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ with filthy hands. We should not build our marital relationship on sinful foundations. So, those who are intending to marry should know that they will not get themselves defiled.
1 Corinthians 6:18 (KJV) Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
_1 Thessalonians 5:22 (KJV) Abstain from all appearance of evil.
1 Corinthians 6:13 (KJV) Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
About intending couples sleeping together or spending more private times together, I think that it is better for them to keep themselves from such. They should not enjoy doing that. When there is more of such tendencies, it means that there is lust. Every time a sister or a brother prefers more of private times with an intending spouse, such a person has lust in him or her. It is obvious that there could be fornication coming out of such a relationship. So, it is better that they avoid spending too much of time privately.
