Choosing happiness over sadness

One of the important things I know is that, life is not a bed of roses, there are good times and there are bad times, so while going through the bad times, you shouldn't be too bothered because it will surely pass if you did not give up, only those that give up won't succeed but everyone that keep trying and doing all what they could to get the bad times past them will one day get to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Life is full of both good and bad, ups and downs, so when you're going through one of the two just know that the other will come later and be prepared to tackle it.

Many times I've been in a situation that I just want to be left alone, I don't even wish to see or talk to my loved ones, these times I'm definitely going through some hard times and I need privacy. The truth is, sometimes I let it out by crying, yeah I cry and after I do get relieved. Something happened to me sometime ago, I was going through a tough situation, I cried and prayed, before I knew it, the whole thing was solved, our communication with God also goes a long way, we shouldn't joke with it.

Although there are some things I usually do when I'm not feeling happy, like being alone, enjoying my privacy, with that I'll have time to think and figure some things out myself. Whenever I'm having that feeling that I need to be left alone, most times I go out alone to a restaurant, order some light food, enjoy the food, enjoy the air conditioners, enjoy the moment and also think it through, I mean that thing that's bothering my mind, right there I usually have time to think very well and find possible solutions to my challenge. It's not just hearsay, it's what I've tried many times and it works for me, although we all are different people, what works for Mr A might not work for Mr B and vice versa.

Just like I said earlier that there are different strategies to win the battle for happiness, another thing I do is by finding just one person not just anybody but one person that understands me so well and will be able to relate with what I want to share, although sometimes I don't feel like sharing but, most times sharing the problem also solves matters fast even beyond one's reasoning.

Like the saying; a problem shared is half solved. When we share our problems atimes, we get answers quickly, especially when the problem is shared with the right person who has experience in that subject matter. Such person will know how to tackle the challenge and what you think is a big deal will just be solved in a twinkle of an eye. So I'll say it's good to share what you're going through with someone that you know can be of help and not someone that will add salt to injury.

However, one of the most important thing is to stay happy, do what makes you happy, good things though not saying you should indulge in bad things that will make matters worse. Do not allow depression to set in at all, try fight that sadness, that problem and with God and your not giving up spirit, you'll get to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Being alone involves taking a pause and reflecting on things, perhaps bringing happiness and like you sharing problem with God and a few loved ones. However, being alone with problems could tilt the individual to some depressing states unless mastered enough.

A problem share is half solved as you said. And it is good to share the problem with the right person, some people can listen to your problem and tell someone else. Ladies do that a lot lols
