I keep my coffee in containers that guarantee its flavor and smell. These are ideal, plus the rubber on the lid allows for vacuum sealing and this detail allows the coffee to last for weeks without losing its properties.
Sometimes when for some reason I buy a lot of ground coffee, I keep half of it here and the rest I seal very well and freeze. The cold also maintains the flavor and smell, as long as it is very well closed.

Oh, I didn't know that you could freeze ground coffee!
I guarantee it, @millycf1976 ...I don't like emptying all the coffee...because even though the container preserves it, opening and closing it every time you go to make coffee takes away its properties. I also freeze the rest in an airtight way... and when you go to look for it, it's incredible how it looks the same.
