Hello Throwback Thursday! Every week I was looking forward to share a throwback moment here in this community. I was able to reminisce the past and look back the happy moments, especially to those persons that I’m still with in that moment.
Today, I was a little bit emotional to share this happy moment that I had year 2021. It was one of the happiest seasons that we celebrate which is Christmas. This throwback moment was also our last Christmas that we celebrated together with my father.
It was really a feast back then; we had so much food on the table that we shared together. The laughter’s and stories as if it were happened just yesterday. I am sharing this moment because it’s already Ber months and Christmas time is approaching, but there’s an ached in my heart because realization hit me that we can never celebrate Christmas again with my father.
As you can see on the pictures, we were very happy, we hug each other and partake the foods with a grateful heart. My father is the one who is wearing yellow shirt.
Even though this Christmas my father was not physically with us anymore. We are still looking forward to celebrate it. I’m still grieving when I thought about my father, but life must go on. Even if the celebration was not the same as yesterday, we must continue celebrate Christmas with gratitude.
This last Christmas together with my father was a core memory for me that I will cherish.
