Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️
What comes to your mind when you hear the word Fisherman's Village.? Maybe 90% of the population in this village work as fishermen and depend on their livelihood, and this is what we will discuss in this post, but not only that, because in my travel story this time, I experienced many things, from happy things to worrying things, so this will be very interesting for us to discuss thoroughly here.
Let's start
Two days ago, heavy rain fell in my village, delaying many of the residents' activities, the atmosphere that was previously bright immediately became dark. At that time, the clock showed 11 am, and at that time I should have left for my uncle's village on the coast of Lhapmana, but I was forced to postpone it because the rain continued to fall.
About an hour later the rain finally stopped and I immediately set off for my uncle's village, at that time I started the journey at 12.00 noon and arrived there at 12.50 so this journey took about 50 minutes. When I arrived at my uncle's house, I immediately rested while chatting with my relatives there, but there was one thing missing, my uncle had not returned from fishing, maybe in about an hour or two they would return, said my aunt.
While waiting for my uncle to come home from the sea, I immediately walked to the edge of the beach to play in the water, the many beautiful views made me very interested in immortalizing them.
There are so many memories that I experienced on this beach, one of the most memorable was when I swam on this beach with my grandmother who had passed away, at that time I was still in 4th grade of elementary school and we often swam on this beach, and the moment that I remember the most was when I almost drowned because I was carried away by the waves, this made many people on the shoreline panic and I was immediately saved by my uncle.
And this beach has also experienced many changes, starting from the presence of concrete on the edge of the beach and the beach edge that feels smaller, but the concrete on the edge of the beach also has many benefits, one of which is as a breaker of large waves so that the waves do not reach the housing on the edge of the beach.
About an hour later, my uncle finally returned from the sea with his wooden boat, and as soon as he arrived at the shore, several people immediately brought wheels that would be placed under the boat, this was done so that when it was pulled later, the boat would already have wheels that would make it easier to pull it to the shore.
The rope was connected to a special machine, so that residents did not need to spend much energy to pull the boat to the shore. At that time, there happened to be two boats returning from the sea, so they just had to wait for their turn.
I'm sure all of you must have understood how these fishermen pull their boats to the shore. But you need to know, this job requires cooperation with each other, so it's impossible for us to do it alone. Of course this is valuable knowledge and experience, even though I'm not a fisherman myself, there's no harm in learning it, right?
After the two boats were pulled to the shore, the fishermen immediately collected their catch into sacks, and after that they would all stop at my uncle's house to rest, coincidentally, my uncle's house was right on the shore.
And here I spent quite a long time chatting with my uncle and I also got a lot of new experiences from the fishermen there, I really enjoyed this special moment. Suddenly one of the fishermen told me about a boat base area that was not too far from my uncle's house, and to get there I could walk along the edge of the beach, hearing that statement I was immediately curious about the boat base, there must be a lot of activities of residents and boats parked there.
After getting clear information, I immediately decided to walk to the base, and at that time I chose to go via the road along the beach.
The distance is not too far, and I only need to walk for about 5 minutes, and when I arrived at the boat base, I was immediately amazed to see the beautiful view of the many boats parked on the edge of the beach, I am not a professional photographer, but I know this is a very interesting object.
There are many activities of residents around the base, everyone is busy with their own activities, but this is a common thing and is often seen at several other boat bases.
There were even some residents who were seen waiting for the fishermen to return from the sea.
The weather, which was initially sunny, suddenly turned very cloudy and light rain started to fall, this made me panic a little, so I decided to immediately return to my uncle's house.
When I arrived at my uncle's house, heavy rain immediately fell, I don't remember how long the heavy rain lasted because at that time I was sleeping at my uncle's house, and I woke up when the clock showed half past 5 in the afternoon. At that time I immediately packed my things and said goodbye to my uncle to go home immediately.
The rain had stopped and the sun was starting to shine again. On my way home, I also stopped for a moment on the side of the road to capture the view of the expanse of rice fields that looked very beautiful and natural.
This view looks very peaceful, you can see rainwater still sticking to the leaves and rice, the orange sunlight also joins in this view, but I didn't linger in the area, and after capturing some of the view, I immediately continued my journey home.
When I entered my village, I saw many people gathered in the irrigation area, and when I arrived there, I was immediately surprised because the water in the irrigation channel had evaporated and flooded the surrounding rice fields.
Many residents flocked to help clean the irrigation channels from several pieces of wood and tree branches that were carried by the current, this was done so as not to block the irrigation channels, so that the water could continue to flow and the risk of flooding would be small.
Seeing this incident, my concern immediately focused on the conditions at my house, so I immediately continued my journey home, but fortunately the river water did not cause a flood, and the rain had really stopped.
However, when I was sitting in the hut in front of my house, suddenly some friends invited me to go to the beach,at first, I immediately refused, because I had just come home from the beach, however, when they said they wanted to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the beach, I immediately agreed to the invitation.
After about 15 minutes of travel, we finally arrived at the beach area, and it was already dark and the atmosphere felt very calm, at that time we immediately walked towards the end of the river mouth and enjoyed the view of the sunset from the top of the rocks.
But unfortunately, at that time we didn't bring coffee, so it felt a little lacking, but we were still satisfied. And the conclusion of this trip is that we must be able to make maximum use of our time, respect each other, protect nature, and don't forget to bring a cup of coffee if you want to enjoy the charm of the sunset.
Well, those are some pictures and stories from me in this post, I really hope that this post can provide entertainment for all of my friends. All of these pictures are purely my own, I took this picture using an Infinix 10 Pro cellphone and edited this picture using the Lightroom application.
