In this post, I will share an experience and moment of my success in finding a Vespa wasp and also my success in capturing its beauty, not only that, because I also managed to find several other unique insects such as mealybugs, long-legged flies and a spider.
Still on the same plantation, namely an empty plantation which is not too far from my house, there are lots of trees, wild plants which are the habitat of unique insects. It is not too difficult to find a spider, let alone a web spider.

This is a web spider, a spider that has quite long legs and has a stomach size that is larger than the size of the rest of the body, on the back of this spider there are also several natural patterns that look like very beautiful carvings. This spider can grow to a larger size, even its size can exceed the palm of an adult human hand, the larger the size, the more terrifying the appearance of this spider, luckily the spider that I found was still small in size which of course was still very young

While I was clearing the undergrowth to make a path, I also managed to find several long-legged flies that were mating. These flies may be rarely seen around our house, but once we enter the plantation or the forest, we will be able to find these flies in very large numbers, especially on the leaves.

On the stem of one of the wild plants, I also managed to find a pile of mealybugs. Actually, I don't know the real name of this particular aphid, but I saw that it was white, so I just called it a whitefly. Its small size makes it a little difficult to find, but luckily this aphid is white and it looks very conspicuous among the green leaves.

And finally, I managed to find a Vespa wasp that kept flying beside me. At that time I felt a little strange when I realized that this Vespa wasp kept flying beside me so that it made me a little panicked at that time, I kept watching where the wasp was flying and not long after this wasp flew towards the cocoa leaves,at that time I just realized that I was sitting right next to the wasp's nest, luckily I didn't move too much so as not to disturb the wasp colony in its nest.
I waited there for a few minutes until a wasp came out of its nest, not long after that the wasp suddenly landed on one of the tree branches, this was an opportunity and I immediately tried to photograph it.Luckily, the wasp didn't fly when I approached it, and I even managed to photograph it from several different angles so that every detail of it could be seen clearly. Not satisfied with the results I had obtained, I tried to photograph it again from a closer distance, I tried it with great caution because I knew that this wasp was very dangerous because it had a very venomous sting, but the attempt was unsuccessful because the wasp immediately flew away.

Luckily, this wasp didn't fly too far, and landed again on a wildflower, so I tried to photograph it again, and I succeeded.
