Seed bugs | Graptostethus servus

in Nature Observer3 days ago

Hello everyone good morning wherever you are, how are you this morning? Hope you are fine wherever you are.

I"m back here again and on this occasion I want to show you some beautiful shots of seed bugs. In Latin, this insect is known as Graptostethus servus which comes from the Lygaeidae family. This insect has a very small body size and is also very sensitive to the surrounding environment. Like when I encountered this, when I stepped into where he was, he quickly moved to another place. But strangely it didn't move far, only about one meter from where it came from.

The colors of this insect are very beautiful, namely red and black. It's not just the color that makes this insect beautiful, but the pattern on its back and wings is what makes this insect look more attractive. The basic color of the back is red decorated with three lines and two black dots. Meanwhile, the wings are decorated with black symmetrical triangles. If you look closely at this part you can say that the pattern is very similar to a suit complete with a tie.

There is one more interesting thing about this insect, namely that its whole body is covered with soft gray hair. To the naked eye, the feathers will not be visible. I only realized that the insect's body was covered with fine hairs when I took a photo with 5x zoom. Only then did it appear. Now let's see the appearance below👇
