Sobrevolando por los senderos de esta colmena, me topé con un post de @theycallmedan, en el cual nos invitaba a escribir sobre nuestras tres características favoritas de Hive o alguna historia maravillosa que tengamos en la blockchain.

El milagro de Baby Bee

Hace más de un año me convertí en madre, Alma llegó a nuestra familia para demostrar el poder la fe. Ya muchos conocen la historia, pero para aquellos que por primera vez me leen, aquí les dejo un resumen.

A dos semanas de nacida, la bebé fue diagnosticada con craneosinostosis, las suturas de su craneo se cerraban de forma prematura, lo que impedía el crecimiento normal de su cerebro. Debido a esto, necesitaba una operación de emergencia que sobrepasaba, por mucho, nuestra capacidad financiera. La angustia se apoderó de mí y, en ese momento tan delicado, acudí a mi familia Hive. Me ayudaron no solo a costear los exámenes preoperatorios sino también a conseguir el dinero para la cirugía y los gastos posteriores, por lo cual siempre estaré eternamente agradecida.

Por tal razón, para mí Hive es más que una blockchain, es una comunidad unida que mantiene en alto los pilares de solidaridad y altruismo que identifican a la humanidad. No importa cuán lejos esté un hiver, si nos necesita, allí estaremos para apoyarlo, sin distinciones ni preferencias.

More than a year ago I became a mother, Alma came into our family to demonstrate the power of faith. Many of you already know the story, but for those of you who are reading this for the first time, here is a summary.

At two weeks old, the baby was diagnosed with craniosynostosis, the sutures in her skull were closing prematurely, which prevented her brain from growing normally. Because of this, she needed an emergency operation that was far beyond our financial capacity. Anguish overcame me and, at that delicate moment, I turned to my Hive family. They helped me not only to pay for the pre-operative tests but also to raise the money for the surgery and the expenses afterwards, for which I will always be eternally grateful.
