Guys, I ended up spending about a week or two; I can't even remember precisely.

Yoooo, that's serious Pearl. I think I am not wrong to say you did more than just 100% for your friend. Staying a week plus, footing some bills and buying foodstuffs is a lot. That's greatly commendable.
