Peculiar 'Fast Travel' + Peculiar 'Viaje Rápido' [Eng+Spa]

I really enjoy reading fantasy stories, and in recent times, I've become fond of a style of web novel writing that is often referred to as “Fast Travel.” Although in this case the term (in original) would be: 快穿.

That's because what I was reading recently is a group of free web novels published on Chinese sites specializing in these publications.

The one I was checking out was “Fast Transmigration: Heroine Arrives, Heroine Quickly Departs!” (快穿：女主驾到，女配速退散！).

I found the story entertaining in many parts.

Just in case you didn't know, in the "Fast Travel" styles the outstanding feature is that the main character 'jumps' between worlds and lives different lives, having story arcs that last a few chapters, and seem similar to the chapters of some television miniseries.

So, whether the protagonist is a man, a woman, a couple, or something else; in all cases these people live different adventures in each arc, they have different names, different professions to learn, and they may even be in very different timelines or races.

In this style, due to its popularization, there may be the problem that some plots are repeated, and it depends on how the author handles it to keep one interested. In the case of the novel I'm commenting on here, I must say that the author did a good job of maintaining interest in the character, and in the mystery surrounding the situation that forced her to go on 'missions' in different worlds.

From the beginning, one of the most intriguing things is that the protagonist, a woman, recurrently met a man who had a kind of 'lotus flower aura' that allowed her to identify that he was the person she had loved in the previous world.

And there is also a MTL (Machine translator Language) version on the site https://es.mtlnovels.com/quick-transmigration-heroine-arrives-woman-rapidly-retreats/. I prefer the original language sources, and I have to say that MTL's automatic translations can be problematic to read at times.

And while the chapter list does list over 2000, it happens that they are very short chapters, and the fact that I usually read quite fast adds to that. So it doesn't take many days to do a full read.

Now, I admit that I found the read entertaining, but I'm not going to recommend it profusely. It just so happens that there are several arcs in which the obsessive and dominant behavior of the male protagonist leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. And there are times when I felt like stopping reading. Luckily, I'm stubborn and I like to complete things. And it's good that most of the arcs in the novel don't have these problems.

Me gusta mucho leer historias de fantasía, y en tiempos recientes, me he aficionado a un estilo de escritura de novelas web que se suele denominar “Viaje Rápido” (Fast Travel). Aunque en este caso el término (en original) sería: 快穿.

Eso es porque lo que estaba leyendo recientemente es un grupo de novelas web gratuitas publicadas en sitios chinos especializados en estas publicaciones.

La que estaba revisando era “Transmigración rápida: ¡llega la heroína, la heroína se retira rápidamente!” (快穿：女主驾到，女配速退散！).

Encontré la historia entretenida en muchas de sus partes.

Por si acaso no lo sabes, en los estilos de “Fast Travel” la característica resaltante es que el personaje protagonista ‘salta’ entre mundos y vive distintas vidas, teniendo arcos de historia que duran algunos capítulos, y parecen semejantes a los capítulos de alguna miniserie televisiva.

Entonces, ya sea que el protagonista sea un hombre, una mujer, una pareja, u otra cosa; en todos los casos estas personas viven diferentes aventuras en cada arco, tienen distintos nombres, diferentes profesiones que aprender, e incluso puede que estén en muy variadas líneas de tiempo o razas.

En este estilo, debido a su popularización, se puede tener el problema de que se repiten algunas tramas, y depende de cómo lo maneje el autor para que uno mantenga el interés. Para el caso de la novela que comento acá, debo decir que la autora hizo un buen trabajo para mantener el interés en el personaje, y en el misterio que rodeaba la situación que le obligaba a hacer ‘misiones’ en distintos mundos.

Desde el inicio, una de las cosas más intrigantes es que la protagonista, una mujer, se encontraba recurrentemente con algún hombre que tenía una especie de ‘aura de olor a flor de loto’ que le permitía identificar que era la persona que había amado en el mundo anterior.

En general, la novela me ha gustado. Se puede encontrar una versión en RAW chino en https://www.beqege.cc/52869/, y también en otros sitios de alojamiento de novelas web gratuitas de este tipo. Y también se tiene una versión de MTL (Machine translator Language) en el sitio de https://es.mtlnovels.com/quick-transmigration-heroine-arrives-woman-rapidly-retreats/. Prefiero las fuentes en idioma original, y he de decir que las traducciones automáticas de MTL puede ser problemáticas de leer en algunas ocasiones.

Y si bien el listado de capítulos marca más de 2000, sucede que son capítulos muy cortos, y se suma el hecho de que yo suelo leer bastante rápido. Así que no toma muchos días hacer una lectura completa.

Ahora bien, admito que me resultó entretenida la lectura, pero no voy a recomendarla profusamente. Sucede que hay varios arcos en los que el comportamiento obsesivo y dominante del protagonista masculino me deja muy mal sabor de boca. Y hay momentos en que me dieron ganas de dejar de leer. Por suerte, soy terco y me gusta completar las cosas. Y es bueno que la mayor parte de los arcos de la novela no tienen estos problemas.
