My Midweek Stroll
It was on Wednesday, around 5am in the morning. I woke up , I said my prayer for the day. I did my home chores , prepared morning breakfast and then i had my bath and dressed up . As I laced up my shoes and stepped out into the crisp morning air, I felt a sense of excitement & anticipation.
My Wednesday walk had become a cherished ritual, a time to clear my mind, stretch my legs, and connect with the world around me.
The street was quiet, save for the occasional chirping of birds or rustling of leaves. I breathed in deeply, feeling the cool breeze fill my lungs, and began my stroll. The warm sun cast a gentle glow over the scene, illuminating the vibrant colors of the flowers and trees.
As I walked, I noticed the small details that often go unnoticed in our busy lives. A delicate spider web glistened in the corner of a windowpane. A bright yellow leaf clung to its branch, defying the autumn breeze. A child's laughter echoed from a nearby playground, carrying on the wind.
My walk was not just a physical activity, but a mental and emotional one as well. With each step, I felt my worries and concerns slowly unraveling, like the threads of a tapestry. My mind, once cluttered with thoughts and to-do lists, began to clear, making space for creativity, inspiration, and reflection.
As I turned a corner, I caught sight of a small café, its doors open to the street. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted out, enticing me to come inside. I smiled, feeling grateful for this small pleasure, and stepped inside to treat myself to a warm cup.
My Wednesday walk had become a sacred ritual, a time to nourish my body, mind, and spirit. As I sat in the café, sipping my coffee and watching the world go by, I felt a deep sense of contentment and peace. The world, with all its complexities and challenges, seemed a little brighter, a little more manageable.
And as I finished my coffee, gathered my thoughts, and headed back out into the day, I felt refreshed, renewed, and ready to take on whatever lay ahead.
