For me, in my opinion, the song gets into the idea that pain and adversity are there and, instead of making us give up, they can be the push to discover another part of ourselves. I tell you this because in several parts it mentions or rather talks about transformation. That's because life hits you, and those hits can teach you something about how to face the world." It's not a self-help message obviously. But it's pretty nice. At least I like it because it makes us see negative things from another perspective, that is, get the good out of the bad.

Of course, I'm not going to lie to you, applying this message in real life is quite difficult because many times the bad things that happen to us don't teach us anything and they only do more harm than good. You know, like accidents and things like that. But well, if the bad things that happen to us are because of our own mistakes, then maybe they teach us something because they can make us change for the next time and stumble over the same stone. There is also the one who says that bad things never teach us anything good, and I respect that comment, because for that person the things that have happened to them may be true.
