Hello all lovely friends. Lately, I've received another large order: crochet garlands. Before I can assemble the garlands, I have to prepare the individual parts of these crafts. I never thought I'd be doing this, but because of my passion, I've been gradually learning and experimenting. I remember loving it as a child, but I couldn't do it because I couldn't. I could only watch and admire a teacher who could create such beautiful crocheted garments. I bought a lot of yarn and crochet hooks, but I could only crochet the basic chain stitches. I couldn't do anything beyond that. Now, I've started learning from YouTube and gradually studied until it can generate some income for me, even if it's not much, it's still good.

Flower garlands are another unique aspect of Thai culture. Made from fragrant, fresh flowers, they have evolved over time, culminating in incredibly realistic crocheted garlands. I studied them and developed a passion for them, eventually earning a small income. While fresh flowers have the advantage of requiring less intricate detail, crocheted flowers, starting from a single strand of yarn woven into various flowers to create a garland, are quite time-consuming.

To assemble one crocheted garland, you have to start with crocheted jasmine flowers, crocheted roses, and there are 3-4 more pieces that need to be crocheted from scratch to make the garland look realistic. For example, right now I'm crocheting roses.

After crocheting the rose pieces, we need to glue them and smooth out the yarn fibers with a lighter. Then, we string them together to make a garland, which is quite intricate and time-consuming. Therefore, I understand that those who value and love handicrafts will appreciate the effort put into making it beautiful. I still have many unfinished pieces, and once they are complete, I will share them with you all again in the future.
Thank you to all my friends for your support and for reading my article today. See you again in the next article. Goodbye everyone!
