When I keep saying that I enjoy the long drives in this city, today let me show you what it actually means and looks like. Muscat city on one side has the coastline and on the other side there are these tall rustic mountains and then there are Deserts also in the interiors. The city has been made cutting through these mountains. There are no tall rises in this city which allows you to get the views of these mountains from any part of the city. From my bedroom also I have a view of a Mountain. The only thing I wish is that if there was little rainfall here then these mountains would have some greenery on them. Right now, they are plain brown, that too has its own charm and with time you get fond of them.
This is how the roads are when you drive through the Mountains. They are so well made and maintained that you really enjoy driving on these roads
It must be such a difficult task to develop infrastructure like this and commendable to all those workers who make such wonderful things for the people.
Some time I wonder they make such wonderful things for people but they themselves live in so much of discomfort in life, and how fair is that :-(

Getting back on the road again
If I am getting bored sitting at home then this is my favorite activity to do, just get on the road and enjoy these long drives with some scenic views along the way and soft music and this brings me back my energy.
