Learning is a continuous process

Learning is a continuous process because it's an every day thing. Even if you learn a thing in a particular way, there will still be more better ways in which that thing can be done depending on who taught you and how you intend to improve yourself.

To say the fact, learning isn't an easy thing for both old and young, there are some things you grab once and you are good at it even more than the person that tutor you while in some cases, you have to learn a particular thing over and over before it sticks to you.

One thing I learned that was so easy for me was how to sew worn out footwear with a cobbler needle and thread. Truth be told, I've never been to a cobbler shop to learn anything of such before.

There was a neighbor of mine whose younger brother lived with her, the guy always sewed his worn out footwear by himself at the veranda of the house so picked interest from it. I'm the kind of person that learns through observation, so each time this guy sews I'm always observing him and through that I learnt the skill.

He was surprised the first time I asked for the needle and when I confidently told him I've been learning from him secretly he couldn't believe it. When he saw my repaired slippers, he was amazed. So whenever any of my slippers cut, I will ask for his needle and he will gladly hand it over to me.

My Mom wasn't happy with it at the first instance because she was afraid I might injure myself with the needle, but when she saw my keen interest, she bought both needle and thread for me from the market. Till today, I sewed my worn out footwear effortlessly at the comfort of my room and the skill has been part of me since child.

But reverse is the case when it comes to riding a bicycle. During childhood, I grew up in the midst of boys and that helped to build my boldness because I can't be bullied and the person will go free, it's not possible, my friends will fight for me.

So I do my things with my male friends, but I never learned how to ride a bicycle, I don't just get it. I wanted to learn it at all costs, but my first attempt ended in a disaster, so I didn't try it again till now.

Maybe it's because I'm afraid of falling and I'm a kind of person that hate to have dent on my skin.... lol.... don't mind me, I love my skin so much that's why I hate to be wounded. I understand that if one intends to learn how to ride, he or she should be ready to sustain injury and I don't want that, so I think that was why I lost interest in learning how to ride a bicycle till now.

Comparing the two instances I discovered that learning how to sew worn out footwear was easy for me because I have keen interest in it. The interest was there and I didn't think of the injury I can sustain with the needle, I was so determined to know it. While learning how to ride a bicycle was very difficult because of the fear of been injured, my mind wasn't settle which lead to my inability to have the knowledge till date.

Just like that in every age of life we should learn things and then in the next life when we apply these things to our life then we don't face any problems. I keep learning from others.

Yes that's just the best way.
