Many people trust their wallets. They trust in how much money they have and can acquire. They trust in truth in wealth and material buoyancy.
To them, having money is everything that will make their lives better. Or should I consider it this way: they are of the opinion that money is the main factor if one must be happy. It is this mindset that makes preachers preach faith in God but mend down to pick anything money (whether just or not).
Some others trust in their spouses and family fame. They could commit suicide if their spouses disappoint them in anyway. They are those who brag about their family name.
What do you put your trust in?
Might and strength can fail.
1 Samuel 2:9 (NIV) He will guard the feet of his faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness. “It is not by strength that one prevails;
The chariots and horses that those who think they have power rely upon have failed others before. World powers have experienced setbacks before. For by strength shall no man prevail, 1 Sam 2:9 (KJV).
We Trust In The Lord Our God
We trust in the Lord our God. He is the only one I know that does not know how to fail. Money has failed the rich. Knowledge has failed the wise and prudent. It is only our God who has not failed.
Come, put your trust in God. Whatever you have, let it only be a means to the end. Let your resources serve you but you yourself trust in God and serve Him. There were wealthy and strong people in the world before our time. Many of them are no more. One day, you too will be no more. Put your trust in God so that He will save your soul at the end.
