Just a day into the new season I have earned more reward cards. From spending my end of season Glint to adding chest reward cards I am pretty happy with my progress.
In recent days the pump in DEC demand has gotten higher due to Conclave presale. On top of that now Hive price is pumping.
I had position myself with close to 1 million DEC in liquidity but seeing how Hive is soaring it may have been better if I held my liquidity in Hive than DEC. This is part of the crypto space that makes investing in it so fun. The volatility between different tokens can exist in rapid pace is giving investors opportunities to profit. I have not position correctly in this current bull run, but with my liquid DEC I can still decide to either invest into the presale or card purchases to earn more in Splinterlands. This is my plan but is definitely tempting to swap between different tokens to try and gain from the volatility.
This leads me to believe the best way to buy more Splinterlands assets as of now is trying to trade my liquidity to earn passively and use the passive income for purchases. Ideal if the assets or tokens I hold also rise in value would be another positive. Therefore looking ahead since DEC is now very close to parity the potential for it to rise even more is not likely. While tokens like Hive or even SPS could have potential to see massive rise.
The price of SPS seems to have stabilized and knowing that the rise in price has no ceiling it would be a much better hold than if I simply kept it in DEC. I am pondering if I should swap my DEC into SPS and stake the SPS. The APR is better in DEC liquidity pool that I am currently investing but SPS appreciating in value may trump the APR.
