Pretty sure I already shared punk from the 90s, but no Green Day if I remember correctly. Interestingly, although I liked them, they were not my favorite back in the days, a lot more punk and pop-punk bands before them. But I rediscovered them a few years ago with the Broadway musicals American Idiot, and got back into it, until a really great concert last year. Anyways, even if older songs, especially from the Dookie album, may be more typical (maybe they will be shared in later weeks), I'll go with American Idiot. It's just perfect for our current US president. The punk music energy, the goofiness of the band members, Billie Joe Armstrong's charisma, the sarcastic tone of the lyrics even when dealing with a fairly serious topic, I guess it all works really well together.
