Quietness
Quietness or stillness is a state of calm, repose and immobility, therefore it indicates everything that does not move.
Quietness can have a positive or negative connotation according to the context. Generally, it is associated with peace and tranquility, therefore, people tend to seek stillness when we need to rest or relax, which means to temporarily get away from the stress and problems of modern life.
These photos belonging to my personal archive, correspond to a partial view of the buildings near a public park located in the eastern part of the city of Barquisimeto, a short distance from my home, and to which I usually go when I need quietness and tranquility.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
La quietud es un estado de calma, reposo e inmovilidad, por lo tanto indica todo aquello que no se mueve.
La quietud puede tener un connotación positiva o negativa de acuerdo al contexto. Generalmente, está asociada a la paz y a la tranquilidad, por lo tanto, las personas solemos buscar la quietud cuando necesitamos descansar o relajarnos, lo cual supone alejarnos temporalmente del estrés y de los problemas de la vida moderna.
Estas fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, corresponden a una vista parcial de las edificaciones cercanas a un parque público ubicado en la zona este de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, a corta distancia de mi hogar, y al cual, suelo acudir cuando quietud y tranquilidad.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
