I recently went to Strada Cafe again, the place where my sister works as a pastry chef (we always take advantage of her day off so we can spend time together to both hang out and run some errands) I really love this cafe for its romantic, vintage and mid cottage style feel, because despite the cityscape outside, inside it feels like a cute Victorian cottage 😃 it's gorgeous and inspiring.
My sister wanted to drink a lemonade with mint, and although there are many coffee options on the menu I couldn't resist the Mocaccino, which in this place is simply called “Moka”, although I was also curious about one called Bombom, which according to the description on the menu says it is an espresso with condensed milk and regular milk.
I like Mocacchino not only for its delicious combination of flavors, but also because it is a visual experience. Look at all those layers 😍 At the bottom a delicious bitter chocolate, in the middle the delicious coffee, and at the top the much appreciated foam that gives an extra touch of texture and creaminess to the drink, adorned with an S of chocolate sauce that is nothing more than the initial of the coffee shop Strada Café 😊 I thought it was a very nice detail.
In my case, one sachet of sugar is enough, but the waiters offer you the possibility of bringing you more, or if you prefer, they bring you some sweetener, but in my case, one sachet of sugar is enough because lately I like to taste a little more the natural bitterness of the coffee, especially when it has chocolate in it.
What I like the most is that even though you stir the ingredients with a spoon and they integrate very well in terms of flavor and texture, the dense foam remains on the surface, even when you have drunk almost all of it. My mouth is watering just remembering the taste of this delicious drink, I think I've become addicted haha, I would like to buy a professional coffee maker just to prepare it.
On the other hand I love the cozy and relaxing atmosphere of this place, with its aesthetics so nice, you definitely feel that it is worth spending a good time there.
And even in the bathroom, the same aesthetics and cozy style is preserved, with vintage and avant-garde photographs. Seriously, I love it all: the style, the design, the color palette, the neatness and the neatness 😍.
