My Gaming Activity and Progress on dCrops + Financial Evaluation of My XMAS Event Partecipation
On dCrops the spring season ended a few hours ago and winter has begun, which will end in just under 15 days.
5 days ago the Christmas event that lasted 30 days also ended.
I have been playing on dCrops since the end of May 2021 and have participated in all the events organized by dCrops.
I have really enjoyed all the events I have participated in, I had some initial misgivings only about the Halloween event but then while playing I changed my mind and enjoyed that event as well.
Today I share the financial analysis of my participation in the Christmas event.
In the Christmas event in order to have the chance to receive 3 gifts per day and to have a 5% bonus on earning in candies for game actions I spent 5000 CROP whose current market value (Lowest Ask) is = 34.45 SWAP.HIVE = $10.71
In 30 days I received many presents and in the table below you can see what I found inside the presents I received.
In the initial phase of the event I also bought presents from the Event Shop and in the table below you can see what I found.
Inside the presents I found a total of 25 Golden Tickets which I used in the Event Shop to purchase:
- 2 BETA packs
- 3 Iron Ore
- 1 Gold Ore
My participation in the XMAS Event was profitable for me because I spent 5000 CROP = 34.45 SWAP.HIVE but received rewards with a total value = 43.84 SWAP.HIVE.
My financial results in the XMAS Event were:
- Profit: +9.39 HIVE = +2.92$
- ROI: +27.24%
It was a small profit compared to the profits I made in previous events but a profit even if small is still a profit and I am satisfied :)
Now that the Christmas event has passed I will follow my usual strategy and will not sell the crops I produce in the current and subsequent seasons until the next event which will most likely be the Easter event.
Returning to my recent game activity today, I performed all the early season tasks.
As always I started with the seasonal quest rewards claim.
I received 15 chests which I immediately opened and in the following image you can see what I found inside the 15 chests.
I am satisfied with what I found inside the 15 chests because I found 6 NFTs of type Resource out of 15 chests.
The 6 NFTs I found in the chests have a market value = 5.44 HIVE = $1.69
New season, new seasonal quests.
Also in this season like the previous season, I was lucky with the new seasonal quests because I received only one quest that I cannot complete because the first quest asks me to plant 4 onion seeds but I only have 3 onion seeds.
I was also lucky with the Reroll because I receive a completable quest right away: Harvest 3 Onion crops.
I sold the crops required by the sell type quests and planted the seeds that will allow me to harvest the crops required by the Harvest type quests
I then planted all my other seed-type NFTs in my land plots.
This season I also planted 6 mystery seeds that I found in the Christmas event presents.
I like to monitor the value of tokens in the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will end this post with a little focus on the value of CROP tokens.
In the following image you can see the difference in value in SWAP.HIVE and in dollars recorded by the CROP token in the time interval: January 17, 2024 - January 30, 2024.
The past 13 days have been very positive for the market value of the CROP token, which increases its value against the dollar:
- Highest Bid Value: +9.55%
- Lowest Ask Value: +14.76%
I think the increase in the value of the CROP token is mainly due to the collaboration between Splinterlands and dCrops that resulted in the sale of 1000 NFT limited edition Olive Tree and that probably helped bring in some new players to dCrops.
To date, 533 Olive Trees have been sold at a price of 25000 DEC = $24.2 per NFT
I noticed that the value of many NFTs of dCrops has also increased and this might be a good time for me to do some trading on NFTs ;)

La mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi su dCrops
Su dCrops è finita da poche ore la stagione primaverile ed è iniziato l'inverno che terminerà tra poco meno di 15 giorni.
5 giorni fa è terminato anche l'evento natalizio che ha avuto una durata di 30 giorni.
Gioco su dCrops dalla fine di maggio 2021 e ho partecipato a tutti gli eventi organizzati da dCrops.
Mi sono piaciuti molto tutti gli eventi a cui ho partecipato, ho avuto qualche perplessità iniziale solo sull'evento di Halloween ma poi giocando ho cambiato idea e mi sono divertito anche in quell'evento.
Oggi condivido l'analisi finanziaria della mia partecipazione all'evento natalizio.
Nell'evento Natalizio per avere la possibilità di ricevere 3 regali al giorno e per avere un bonus del 5% sul guadagno in candies per le azioni di gioco ho speso 5000 CROP il cui valore di mercato attuale (Lowest Ask) è = 34.45 SWAP.HIVE = 10.71$
In 30 giorni ho ricevuto molti presents e nella tabella seguente puoi vedere cosa ho trovato all'interno dei regali che ho ricevuto.
Nella fase iniziale dell'evento ho anche comprato dei presents dall'Event Shop e nella tabella seguente puoi vedere cosa ho trovato.
All'interno dei presents ho trovato un totale di 25 Golden Tickets che ho utilizzato nell'event Shop per acquistare:
- 2 BETA packs
- 3 Iron Ore
- 1 Gold Ore
La mia partecipazione al XMAS Event è stata profittevole per me perchè ho speso 5000 CROP = 34.45 SWAP.HIVE ma ho ricevuto ricompense per un valore totale = 43.84 SWAP.HIVE.
I miei risultati finanziari nel XMAS Event sono stati:
- Profit: +9.39 HIVE = +2.92$

E' stato un profitto piccolo in confronto ai profitti che ho realizzato nei precedenti eventi ma un profitto anche se piccolo è sempre un profitto e sono soddisfatto :)
Adesso che l'evento natalizio è passato seguirò la mia solita strategia e non venderò i crops che produrrò nella stagione in corso e nelle successive fino al prossimo evento che con moltà probabilità sarà l'evento di pasqua.
Ritornando alla mia attività di gioco recente oggi ho effettuato tutte le operazioni di inizio stagione.
Come sempre ho iniziato dal claim delle ricompense delle quest stagionali.
Ho ricevuto 15 chests che ho immediatamente aperto e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere cosa ho trovato all'interno dei 15 chests.
Sono soddisfatto di quello che ho trovato all'interno dei 15 chests perchè ho trovato 6 NFT di tipo Resource su 15 chests.
I 6 NFT che ho trovato nelle chests hanno un valore di mercato = 5.44 HIVE = 1.69$
Nuova stagione, nuove quests stagionali.
Anche in questa stagione come la precedente sono stato fortunato con le nuove quests stagionali perchè ho ricevuto solo una quest che non posso completare perchè la prima quest mi chiede di piantare 4 onion seeds ma io ho solo 3 onion seeds.
Sono stato fortunato anche con il Reroll perchè ricevo subito una quest completabile: Harvest 3 Onion crops.
Ho venduto i crops richiesti dalle quests di tipo sell e ho piantato i semi che mi permetteranno di raccogliere i crops richiesti dalle quests di tipo Harvest
Ho poi piantato tutti gli altri miei NFT di tipo seme nei miei land plots.
In questa stagione ho piantato anche 6 mystery seeds che ho trovato nei presents dell'evento natalizio.
Mi piace monitorare il valore dei token dei giochi in cui gioco e/o ho investito e concludo questo posto con un piccolo focus sul valore dei token CROP.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere la differenza di valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari registrata dal token CROP nell'intervallo di tempo: 17 gennaio 2024 - 30 gennaio 2024.
Gli ultimi 13 giorni sono stati molto positivi per il valore di mercato del token CROP che aumenta il suo valore rispetto al dollaro:
- Highest Bid Value: +9.55%
- Lowest Ask Value: +14.76%
Penso che l'aumento di valore del token CROP è dovuto principalmente alla collaborazione tra Splinterlands e dCrops che ha prodotto la messa in vendita di 1000 NFT limited edition Olive Tree e che probabilmente ha contribuito a far arrivare dei nuovi giocatori su dCrops.
Fino ad oggi sono stati venduti 533 Olive Tree al prezzo di 25000 DEC = 24.2$ per ogni NFT
Ho notato che è aumentato anche il valore di molti NFT di dCrops e questo potrebbe essere un buon momento per me per fare delle operazioni di trading sugli NFT ;)
