Despite being Sunday it didn't seem like it, this day is usually a day of rest, but for those of us who live in Venezuela we must take advantage of the moments when they put the water, so this Sunday began washing clothes. It was quite sunny, the sun's rays warmed the morning and my body 😅. After a short while the sky clouded over and a while later the sun came out again. The gray clouds were only momentary because it didn't rain.
After hanging out the laundry I went out to do some shopping to prepare lunch, a delicious chicken with vegetables was what I had in mind. So I didn't hesitate to look for the missing ingredients, some potatoes, bell pepper and carrots. I also put "cookies" on my list at little Alma's request. I usually bring her two different flavors for her to choose from. There are even some "Maria" cookies that contain no sugar and she likes them.
Wearing light clothing is always convenient in such a hot city, especially when the slope to climb back home becomes a bit more demanding because of the extra weight. Hence, a good breakfast and a cup of coffee is important, which gives me the energy I need to face these morning challenges.

Después de tender la ropa salí a realizar unas compras para preparar el almuerzo, un delicioso pollo con vegetales era lo que tenía en mente. Así que no dudé en buscar los ingredientes que faltaban, unas papas, pimentón y zanahoria. También anoté en mi lista "galletas" por petición de la pequeña Alma.
