Hello friends, how are you all?? Wishing you all happy and prosperous life ahead.
Today i would like to share about my experience of woodcraft market in my city. I had taken these photos to write a blog but I had forgotten. Today I was looking at my gallery and saw these pictures. Then I thought, let's write a blog about woodcraft in my City. Where I live is a small town, there is no shopping mall, movie theater, so there is no source of entertainment in my city, Whenever there is any carnival or fair in my city, I definitely go there to enjoy there to make some memories with my family.
In my city there is a fair held for a month in winter where artisans bring and sell wooden items. Woodcraft market(Mahotsav) is famous for its cheap home décor items, starting from the fancy mirrors, beds, chairs, tables, antiques to cute tiny wooden items. Honestly, I was personally impressed with the large variety of products that you can spot at just one place.
Here, the salesmen where from different city, they where speaking different language it was difficult for me to understand theirs terms While shopping, for unique items, i have notice a lot of different terms that define “old”. How do you figure out the item you are eyeing, an “antique,” or a“vintage,” ? The answer would totally depends on what are you looking to buy.
The goods were very amazing, I liked everything but the prices were high, I was in no mood to take anything just because of bit pricy. If you are fair then definitely you have bargaining skill, others you will feel Regret later for sure 😜
As far as I remember, this is the first time in my city that a woodcraft shop has been established, I have never seen it such shop before, I had never imagined that such a product would ever be available in my city.
There was so much beauty in each and every item, very beautiful work was done at every item. Here I took photos of big items and there are many small items too like rolling pin, wooden teether, toys for kids, wooden massager, coaster, brushes etc.
This flower pot seemed very beautiful, its work was very delicate. Can you believe, all this is made by hands, the beauty that came out was given by a human hands, it was not made up of any type of machine, it was made with a lot of hard work and dedication of Artists, it can also be the reason why these items were expensive.
Tell me which one did you like best among all these items in the comment section?
I really liked the rolling chair,I want to buy it for my grandmother, i kept on bargaining till the end, the shopkeeper was too rigid and fix to his price, according to me it was not so worthy as per the wooden Material,I did not take it, left it, maybe I will get it somewhere again, I will definitely buy it fo her, as it was not in my budget.
Do you like the craft market of my city?
Thankyou
