RE: Simple foods from a simpler time

If you have legit adhd, there is no diet or lifestyle than can replace the misfiring and/or depleted norepinephrine and dopamine. That being said, the sleep thing can be hard. I’m on melatonin and low level antidepressant to help me sleep through the night. It’s not always the best quality of sleep but it’s way better than only getting a few hours of sleep like I did for the first 30 years of my life 😁

Wb Eve, long time no see :D

I do legit have Adhd and no, you are ret a diet cant "fix" it, but it can do a lot to help me "catch" some of the misfirings/impulsive behavior.

I found the less sugar I consume the better :D

But my sleep is shit. This is my sleep from yesterday to today via Oura.
On meds.

  • I also take Melatonin & Magnesium xD

That’s fair, you got the data. I use Oura too, should go back couple years and pull data to compare over a longer period.

Did you not have sleep problems before being medicated for adhd?

Ye true. But I have been on and off meds now and then, I can't remember the periods.

Well, yes I did have sleeping problems before the meds, but I also drank a shit ton of energy drinks and coffee back then at random times, so I feel like its hard to use that data for anything useful since it was influenced back something else all the time.

I am very aware now of what I eat and drink when I have to get up the day after and not when its the weekends :D
